Returns

Please understand that all original artwork and fine art prints sales are final. Most fine art prints are made to order and cannot be canceled. All works and prints are photographed as accurately as possible, to avoid unexpected surprises upon delivery. 

Only in the case of damaged items, will we accept returns. Please read the criteria below.

Lost- and/or Damaged orders

We only accept returns, if purchased items are defective or damaged.
All original work and prints are carefully handled and packaged before shipping.

Please inspect your order upon arrival. In the unlikely event of receiving a damaged item, send an email with detailed pictures of the damaged item contact@ireneveltman.com within 24 hours after reception. Include pictures of all sides.
Please do not throw away packaging, as we require the return in the original packaging.
We reserve the right to refuse any returns, that do not fulfill these criteria. 

– In the case of damaged originals artwork, we may discuss the possibilities case-by-case. Please send an email to contact@ireneveltman.com
– In the case of damaged prints, we will, if possible, replace your item. If your order cannot be replaced, for example due to limited editioning, you may choose another edition or receive a refund, upon returning the damaged item in original packaging.

In the case of lost packages, it is the buyer’s responsibility to initiate a claim and/or investigation. However, if the logistic company asks for the sender to start an investigation, please contact us, so that we may help you with the situation.

Returns

Upon receiving the returned order, inspection will take place and confirmation will be send through email, letting you know if the return has been accepted or not. If approved, you will be refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note that only the cost of the artwork can be refunded, not the shipping costs. 
Allow up to 15 business days to be refunded, after accepting the return, as some banks may take some time to process the refund.

Shipping

The buyer will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs for returning an order. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

EU Legislation

Notwithstanding the above, is the EU ‘cooling off period’.
